Jonathan Duquette
Mr. Duquette heads up the ShARP Division. Mr. Duquette is a former Senior Vice President and Partner of the global proxy solicitation firm of Georgeson Shareholder, Inc. While at Georgeson he created and built the PostMerger CleanUp product, with responsibility for sales, customer service and research.
Before joining The Altman Group he founded Duquette Communications Corp., a shareholder communications specialty firm advising publicly held companies, transfer agents and proxy solicitors on shareholder communications issues, such as abandoned property, mergers and acquisitions and shareholder response programs.
With extensive experience on large–scale shareholder communications projects with many Fortune 500 companies, Mr. Duquette has pioneered and grown shareholder communication services using tireless client servicing and superior operational capabilities.
Mr. Duquette graduated from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a long–standing member and invited speaker with The Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals, The National Investor Relations Institute, and The Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization.
Jim Gaffney
Mr. Gaffney joined The Altman Group in 2005 as a Senior Managing Director. He has extensive experience working with clients on all facets of the proxy solicitation, shareholder response and the shareholder communications industry. He developed his expertise through a wide range of assignments, including tender and exchange offers, proxy contests, annual meetings, stock surveillance, asset reunification (post–merger clean–up) services and odd lot tender offers. Mr. Gaffney has over eighteen years of experience in the proxy solicitation and shareholder communications industry, most recently as Senior Vice President of Georgeson Shareholder Inc.
Mr. Gaffney graduated from Babson College with a joint degree in Finance and Investments. He is an active member of The National Investor Relations Institute, The Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals, the Shareholder Services Association and The Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization.
